Social Media Market Research Event

For those of you in Manhattan who are interested in what social media means for market research, I’ve been asked to take part in a panel discussion June 19th. There will be several qualitative researchers present who frequently investigate social network issues. I’ve been asked to take part in order to represent the quantitative side.

Even though I’ve always thought of myself as a ‘quant’ researcher, with the text mining methodologies Anderson Analytics has developed, I now have a hard time differentiating between qual and quant. I do believe that data and text mining hold the key to unlocking tremendous insights from….
