Restful SOA

Pumped on REST

Full disclosure: I don’t really like WebSphere. If I’m being completely straight with you, the fact is I think that J2EE is (and always was) an architectural disaster: a bad solution to the wrong problems, which created a mind-boggling host of knock-on problems of its own. It follows that I won’t be a keen fan of any J2EE application server, and I’m not. If forced to choose one, I go for Jetty, Jboss, and WebLogic, in that order of preference.

Having said all that — the thinking on evidence at IBM’s Project Zero is very tasty, and essentially impossible (for me) to disagree with. Good stuff.
