The world’s largest, fastest, most agile Supply Chain

There is one shipping firm in the world, maybe the galaxy, that is counted on more than FedEx, UPS, and DHL combined.

In fact, this organization has an even more complex supply chain. It takes its own orders, makes its own goods, and ships them all in one night.

While it must be incredibly profitable, the firm is not public so stats are not available. However, it’s widely known that they employ only one CEO, 12 reindeer, and several elves excluding the one who’s a dentist and the odd one who moved to New York.

So, it’s interesting to see how a real “Fortune 1” firm, which relies solely on Halo BI, uses our software for their supply chain performance monitoring. Let’s take a look at three views they shared with us. Maybe you can use them as well.

At the top of the firm, the CEO needs a view of his customer base and how well they are being served. His Executive Dashboard shows year-over-year performance and quickly lets him know that customers are happy but he is having issues with delivery. This is not a “frictionless supply chain,” yet.

Next, the manufacturing unit needs input to plan production. SKU proliferation has been an issue as the electronics category exploded the past few years.

Because the entire company uses a simple but effective Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, their data needs are simple. They need to see demand forecast at a category level.

For example, “Breaking Bad Action Figures” is in the Top 10 wish list. Unfortunately or not, our firm won’t produce these items – they’ll have to come from Walmart.

Last, with a refreshed fleet vehicle for delivery this year, we forecast a higher on-time delivery rate. No need to worry about customer sat scores dropping this year.

The team at Halo wishes all of our customers, partners and other BI users a happy holiday – worldwide!
