The folks at BR Solutions launched a new website that makes some of the RuleSpeak guideliness for writing good rules available for download at www.RuleSpeak.com. It offers basic RuleSpeak 2.0 guidelines in English, Spanish, German and (soon) Dutch. Ron Ross wrote an article about this in the April issue of the Business Rules Journal eUpdate.

I took a quick look and anyone writing rules – as requirements, as specification for a business rules management system or just to capture a policy – should download it and take a look as it has some great staightforward advice. I think there is an opportunity for an even shorter version but this one is a quick read and well worth the time investment.
