Dr. Kirk Borne is a Multidisciplinary Data Scientist and an Astrophysicist. He gave a TEDx talk at George Mason University on April 6th 2013. Dr. Kirk Borne talks about how big data will help us discover Novelties, Classes and Associations. The common ‘rule’ of the six degrees of separation is shrinking due to big data. As such, our world is becoming smaller.
