With so many features and benefits it’s possible to get the most out of your oracle application. Oracle is used in virtually every large application due to its ability to integrate technology and pre-integrated, comprehensive business applications and the fact that fixing query performance can also be done fast. There are a number of things that can help enhance the entire configuration and installation process and ensure your application remains maintainable. A number of ways of enhancing your Oracle application includes extraction of data from its source as well as loading it into the warehouse data target, which is a very critical part determining how your oracle application will perform. You can enhance your Oracle application by choosing the proper extraction modes.

JDBC mode

A default mode using the Loading Knowledge Modules in ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) during the extraction of data from its source and streaming it across the Oracle Data Integrator Agent and right to its target.Through the agent the records are streamed towards translating data types across sources of heterogeneous data. It means JDBC is best used when you’re using non-Oracle source database.

Database link mode

In case the source database is Oracle, the proper option to use is database link mode. This is because it makes the most of the database link efficiency that’s natural to Oracle databases. Source data is then easily extracted through the link, eliminating the need for extra data translation as happens with the JDBC mode. This process is similar to sending a link to the end user to launch a remote support session.

Source-dependent Data Store (SDS) mode

This mode allows source transactions replication to take place through Oracle GoldenGate into the warehouse data target into the SDS schema. As such, the SDS schema imitates the source schema ensuring the source data extraction process takes place from the local DW local source-dependent Data Store schema rather than through the network to the real source. In case you are thinking about extracting data from a source that’s non-Oracle, GoldenGate is a better option than JDBC in many respects.

Cloud strategy and your Oracle application

To make the most of your Oracle applications, you must make it a part of the company’s cloud strategy. Otherwise, getting much out of it while employees devote almost all their time managing and implementing the business’s infrastructure is expecting too much. Many issues that faced cloud adoption such as performance and security barriers at the beginning have and are still being addressed.

Functional service desk

As such, you can make most of their functional service desk that provides functional and administrative support for Oracle applications based in the cloud. As such, the experts take a thorough understanding of your business towards ensuring employees have incorporated wholly new solutions and are capable of resolving issues much faster as well as focusing on the main business functions.

CEMLI Migration

Mapping your business requirements to the functionality offered by Oracle is very important and CEMLI Migration solution helps you accomplish this. This ensures the unique capabilities of your business continue functioning and achieving optimal performance through the provision of maintenance and remediation services. Experienced experts with the highest knowledge of Oracle and its technologies are used to help you get the most out of your Oracle Application.
