A new infographic released by Teradata shows the misconceptions of marketers regarding Big Data.  There are a few common myths that marketers still believe that need to be changed. After all, as mentioned before, Big Data is not just for the IT department, but all departments will move into IT and require IT staff. In addition, a common misconception is that Big Data is just a hype that will pass before you know it. This is absolutely incorrect, as Big Data offers many possibilities for any organisation in any industry, but it is not easy to deploy a big data strategy. Luckily more organisations are developing a Big Data strategy. Teradata conducted a survey among 2,200 marketers and 71% of the respondents plans to develop a big data strategy in the coming two years.
