Marjie Cota joined Mind Over Machines in 2011, responsible for cultivating business community relationships and supporting company growth throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Marjie brings more than 20 years of sales and marketing, recruitment and leadership development experience in the financial/professional services, healthcare, nonprofit and pharmaceutical industries.
Prior to joining Mind Over Machines, Marjie served as vice president of sales for Community Analytics, a social network-focused research company. She also served as director of sales and marketing for The Mergis Group, a national recruiting firm. She has extensive experience developing quality-focused process improvement programs, among them a cycle time reduction program that was launched worldwide for one of the world’s largest catering companies.
Cota serves on the membership committee for the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, leading a business ambassadorship program for businesses new to the area. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Indiana State University.
Marjie is an avid sailor, having logged 35,000 blue water miles to destinations from Nova Scotia to Trinidad.
