SDC is looking for a Community Manager to oversee the site

  • Do you open your Twitter feed each morning to read the latest on data and anlaytics? 
  • Do you like to attend conferences and engage in thoughtful conversations with other analysts? 
  • Are you looking for a challenging creative outlet?

Then join the SDC team as our new community manager!

Expectations:

The Community manager is the thought-leader of the site and reports to the Director of Community at Social Media Today.

  • Do you like to attend conferences and engage in thoughtful conversations with other analysts? 
  • Are you looking for a challenging creative outlet?

Expectations:

The Community manager is the thought-leader of the site and reports to the Director of Community at Social Media Today. 

You will:

  • Produce one piece of original content per week such as an interview on Google Hangout, Skype, Storifying a Tweetchat, or a blog post
  • Recruit new bloggers for the site
  • Attend relevant events for the purpose of creating content and forming beneficial connections for the site
  • Work with the site Advisory Board 

Qualifications

  • Prior work or study of Big Data and Analytics
  • Background in writing and editing
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Social media skills a plus
