Judging Complete for 2011 Government Big Data Solutions Award

2 Min Read

The Judges for the 2011 Government Big Data Solutions Award have reported back and results have been tabulated. Judges had to choose from a diverse and large set of nominees in 2011, and we can only assume that the list will grow for 2012. It was great working with an all start team of professionals who know Big Data capabilities and government mission needs. Our judges included: Doug Cutting (creator of Lucene and Hadoop), Alan Wade (former CIA and IC CIO), Ryan Lasalle (Accenture Cyber R&D), Ed Granstedt (QinetiQ Strategic Solution Center) and Chris Dorobek (Founder, editor and publisher of DorobekInsider.com).

The top five awardees will be announced at Hadoop World on 8 Nov. They will also be written up at CTOlabs.com and CTOvision.com and will be highlighted in our newsletters. Please stay connected here for more information.

Will we see you at Hadoop World? This is shaping up to be the premiere Big Data event.  More on Hadoop World from their website is pasted below:
