“The really nice thing about the text channel is that putting together a high-impact text project with short-term payback is relatively simple. Our technology allows for a 6-8 week ramp up with minimal IT support and a really small investment to get started.” That’s Curtis Rapp, Air2Web’s vice president of sales and marketing, talking enthusiastically about his favorite topic – the mobile messaging space.

Air2Web provides “connectivity into the carrier networks” for high-performance, highly specific messaging capabilities, and provides a hosted user interface where customers can create and schedule mobile marketing campaigns, such as a customer survey or an outbound coupon, he says. The metrics can be persuasive. A customer accessing his account via his cell phone can save the support center a $7 call.

Listen to Curt in this interview – and then tune in for more of his thoughts and insights on April 16, when he joins our three other experts for the SmartData Collective webinar on Using BI, Mobile, and CRM Technologies to Keep Your Business Afloat – and Thriving – During the Recession.
