Last month on October 6 we held a Blogarama on the topic of The Emerging Role of the Analyst. We got plenty of great submissions which you can find here.

Following on that theme, we want to explore the question of how analysts within organizations go about gaining more influence in their companies’ decision making.

Are you – or have you been – in the situation where your analyses are ignored or simply given lip service? Have you ever been – or are you in the process of being – a squeaky wheel, seeking to have impact on your company’s direction?

How do analysts get the attention their roles deserve?

Simply write a blog article or an essay and let us know about it. You can publish it through SmartData Collective or just let us know the URL and title of your piece. We will then do a followup activity – a webinar discussion or online conversation – relating to the ideas you’ve written about.

Let us know on November 14 when the Blogorama will go live. The official page for Analytics Blogarama November 14 2011 is here.

Thanks,
