It’s also cool to note that Microsoft Silverlight is getting in on the action. This year, March Madness viewers can choose between a standard player, which streams at 550 kilobytes per second, or the enhanced Silverlight player (aka the “HQ” player), which streams at 1.5 megabytes per second.
