When he’s not investigating with the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office, Adriel Hampton is storming the Government 2.0 clouds as a rising blogger and tweeter. As of 12 hours ago, you can add talk-show host.
About two weeks ago, I received an email from Amy Domestico of BlogTalkRadio, a free service that allows anyone to host an internet talk show. The company provides the back-end and a phone number, and the shows are ad-driven. Citing the success of a Pentagon talk show, Amy expressed an interest for me to get involved in the radio-meets-government-meets-social media sphere.
Because the electronic government world is fairly small, I quickly learned Amy also contacted Adriel; and the two of us agreed to collaborate.

Other voices on the 60-minute recording (initially planned for a half hour, but extended due to 30+ participating listeners and synchronous chatters) include Andrea Baker, Maxine Teller, Steve Ressler, Marilyn Clark, and Michael Russell.
I take the mike about five minutes in, talking about a recent survey that Andy Krzmarzick and I conducted for a presentation next week about social media usage in government.
Adriel plans to rotate podcasting duties in the coming weeks; and he’s suggested I do some guest hosting. Works for me. I’m also amid informal chats with some Boston-area government bloggers (to remain nameless for now) about a different recurring podcast, so stay tuned. That’s not to mention my own plans for a local community TV show…
