What Are The Trends? A Big Data Survey [INFOGRAPHIC]

A new survey, carried out by Jaspersoft, reveals that there is still much confusion among executives on how to deal with Big Data, although it also shows that there is more commitment and organisations developing a big data strategy. The amount of companies that funded a big data strategy has doubled since their last survey in 2012, but still 20% of the organisations does not see any business justification for moving ahead with Big Data.

A new survey, carried out by Jaspersoft, reveals that there is still much confusion among executives on how to deal with Big Data, although it also shows that there is more commitment and organisations developing a big data strategy. The amount of companies that funded a big data strategy has doubled since their last survey in 2012, but still 20% of the organisations does not see any business justification for moving ahead with Big Data. Not surprisingly, the most popular data source is Customer Relations Management data, which is used to improve customer and experience analytics.
