The increasing prevalence of connected “things”, or uniquely identifiable devices, has enormous implications on the way industries operate, businesses develop, and consumers live. IDC has created an infographic that provides a look into how the IoT (Internet of Things) and M2M (Machine-to-Machine) solutions will impact Asia Pacific. It shows that by 2020 wearable devices such as smartwatches, smart cameras or other smart technologies will drive an enormous amount of data and it will change how organisations can and will communicate with consumers.
