CEO to CEO: The Importance of an Encrypted Cloud [VIDEO]

In a recent Lloyd survey, cyber risk was the third largest overall concern for CEOs and senior executives.  The information comes from a poll of 580 CEOs and senior executives around the world.  “Business leaders have woken up to the importance of cyber security following a series of high profile incidents since 2011,” says Lloyd’s official release.

Mike Klein, Online Tech Co-CEO, candidly discusses the importance for CEOs and upper management to use an encrypted cloud for data security and regulatory compliance.  He states that “to be kept out of jail” or to avoid your organization being fined for data breaches, companies should look to data encryption.  Klein recommends the best way to become compliant with HIPAA, PCI or Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements is to make sure your data is stored in a cloud that is encrypted.
