While in Las Vegas at TDWI I spoke with Jim Ericson about BI for SMBs. Many companies struggle with the implementation of a successful business intelligence platform and solution that meets their organization’s needs. SMBs are no different and have similar requirements to their enterprise counterparts depending on their industry and goals. However, what is available to these businesses does differ based on their structure, current infrastructure, openness to SaaS offerings, and how dynamic their environment is. Consequently, the market is looking to meet more of these needs through lower priced offerings, self-service models, and agile delivery.
