I know I went on a bit of a rampage about Wired.com editor-in-chief Chris Anderson today after finding out today how he’d misquoted Peter Norvig last year. I just read in Gawker that Wired.com is being “gutted”. They cite this Silicon Alley Insider post.

I just want to say that I didn’t know about the cuts until just now, and I take no pleasure in reading about them. I feel for the staff–these are tough times in offline and online media.
