Big data has had a tremendous effect on our lives. You will find that entertainment has become highly influenced by advances in data.

Netflix is one of the entertainment companies that relies extensively on big data. This is a topic that was discussed in the Forbes article Netflix: Big Data And Playing A Long Game Is Proving A Winning Strategy. Netflix has used big data technology to deliver personalized recommendations to users, offer better and more reliable streaming services and expand its range of product offerings.

Unfortunately, despite the many benefits that big data has provided for Netflix and other streaming services, there are still pitfalls that users encounter. You are going to need to understand how to deal with them.

Fortunately, if you are tech-savvy and know how to use data effectively, you can deal with these challenges. Keep reading to learn more.

What Data Savvy Netflix Users Should Know About Dealing With Errors

Netflix is one of the leading platforms on the list of top-tier on-demand streaming services.
It has an easy-going data architecture that enhances the user’s experience while navigating whether it be a browser or a hand-held device. It is no wonder that big data has played a role in driving the streaming service’s success.

It has a library size of over 15,000 titles, including licensed and original content, from which you can watch masterpieces like Dark, Money Heist, Lucifer, The Crown, or The Queen’s Gambit.
But who would like it if you’re trying to watch your favorite TV show and an error code pops up and stares you in the face?

So to prevent that forehead vein from popping, we have compiled a list of possible error codes and their fixes.

Although fixing common Netflix error codes is not that complex, you need to make the exact right move to eliminate those ugly-looking error windows and continue your movie night with friends.
So keep on reading to know how you can fix the most commonly occurring Netflix errors in a jiffy.

Netflix Error Code F7111-5059

Netflix has licensing agreements with content creators to restrict their programs in certain regions. This method is followed so producers can cover their investment money.

And as VPN usage is increasing, one of the popular reasons for using it is to access different libraries of Netflix and stream geo-restricted movies and TV shows.

So you might be doing the same trick.

But streaming platforms like Netflix work hard to make sure no one can access any geo-restricted content on their platform.

So if they’re showing you this error, then this means they have detected that you’re using a VPN tool.
You’ll have to eventually disconnect your VPN or proxy and launch Netflix again.
This should do the trick.

But if you still want to stream your favorite movie, even though Netflix has detected your VPN server, just connect to a different server and check if it works. But you need to make sure you’re subscribed to a reliable VPN service that has backup servers if one server gets blacklisted by Netflix.

Netflix Error UI-800-3

This error can occur if you are using a device such as Chromecast, Roku, Android Box, Firestick, or any game console like Xbox or PS4.

The reason for this error is that the data on your device might not have been updated which needs fixing.

You can just restart your device and see if it works.

If not, then try logging out of your Netflix account and then log back in and see if it works. This can solve any data corruption error that you might have dealt with.

If this doesn’t work too, then disconnect your WiFi, restart your router, reconnect it again and see if it works then.

Netflix Error Code M7111-1331

This error can arise if you are accessing Netflix from a web browser (possibly Google Chrome).
If you’re just clicking a bookmarked link to access Netflix, don’t do that. As that link might not exist now. Just directly access the Netflix page and you’re good to go.

If you still can’t access Netflix then check if there are any web browser extensions active. That extension might be causing compatibility issues with Netflix. Try deactivating the extension and check if your Netflix works now.

Netflix Error (AVF:11800;OS:42800;)

You will see this sentence “This title can no longer be watched offline” along with this error code. Fortunately, the show should still have the movie in its database.
Netflix has a feature that allows users to download movies and TV shows to easily watch them later without an internet connection.

If you’re seeing this error then this means the movie file which you have downloaded has been corrupted.

There’s no fix to this if you’re not having an active internet connection at the moment. You have to exchange data from the Netflix server.

But if you do have an internet connection then simply go to My Downloads on your Netflix and delete the file.

Then re-download your content again and you’ll be able to watch it without any errors.

Netflix Error Code 10013

Similarly, when you’re downloading a movie or a TV show to watch later while connected to a VPN or proxy, then Netflix might show you this error along with this: “There was a problem with this download. (10013)”. This is an issue that you can encounter simply due to the fact that your data is encrypted.

To fix this error, you have to disconnect the VPN or proxy you’re using on your device and then try downloading your movie again, you should be able to do it now.

And if the content you’re downloading is geo-restricted to your region and you can only download it with an encrypted data connection via a VPN then make sure you’re subscribed to a reliable VPN provider that offers backup servers if one server is detected by Netflix.

You should now be able to solve these error codes when they appear on your Netflix screen.
Other than that, you can try these universal fixes for any Netflix error code,
Restarting your devices.

Signing out and signing back into your Netflix account. Disconnecting and reconnecting your device to the internet.
