Dr. Dave Schrader is responsible for marketing Active Enterprise Intelligence, Teradata’s “top strategic initiative” that is designed to help customers derive more value from their Enterprise Data Warehouse by writing new applications and applets for front-line employees and systems.
Here, Dave talks about how AEI helps customers “use their Teradata systems to turn data into insights, and then insights into action” by moving information from the back office to the front line. “It’s just like being able to follow someone around in a store to see what they put in their basket,” he says. “If you can, in the moment, while they’re still shopping, do something to spur that purchase, then you benefit.”
