LashBack Welcomes Two New Email Analysts

LashBack is proud to announce the addition of two fresh faces to our Analyst Team. Our analysts spend their days reviewing thousands and thousands of commercial email messages for CAN-SPAM compliance regulations. In my quest to learn more about our new hires, I discovered some pretty interesting facts about Loren Carvalho and Amanda Erkmann and their adventures in email after a week in our St. Louis office:

Amanda joins LashBack’s Analyst Team with a background in photography and graphic design from Columbia College in Chicago.

Her favorite color is green, she has a talent for cosmetology and has proclaimed the only kind of SPAM she likes is the stuff that comes out of a can.  Although Amanda has been with LashBack for a short time, she has already sparked interest in starting a company-wide “tiny instrument band” as  part of a team-building exercise.

When asked, “What’s the most interesting thing you’ve seen so far while reviewing thousands of email messages?”

Loren joins LashBack with a Philosophy background from Lindenwood University in St. Louis.

The youngest team member, turning 21 this month, Loren is passionate about playing the drums, is arguably addicted to candy, and has a fondness for his environmentally friendly Vespa, which has prompted our team to bestow him with the nickname, ‘Scooter’.

So far when asked, the best thing Loren has seen while reviewing commercial email messages for LashBack is an offer that features Mr. T and Ed McMahon ‘teaming up’, well photoshopped, with their arms around each other with a caption bubble that reads, “We Melt Gold!”

Upon seeing this offer on his second day, Loren exclaimed, “I pity the fool that doesn’t use LashBack’s services!”

We are excited to have Amanda and Loren as part of the LashBack family, as they add to the quality and capacity of our analyzing capabilities, as well as the collective personality and intelligence of our growing organization. Loren has already contributed to the blog with a post about deceptive subject lines; look for more posts from LashBack analysts in the future, as they continue to vigilantly watch over the world of email.
