Title: Business Technology Consultant
Company: The Perera Group
— Bio —
Peter Perera works with organizations to “doodle n'noodle" graph databases for CRM and MDM applications. He's known for adapting enterprise software to business needs, but is always searching for opportunities to shake up things with new technologies.
He advises, educates and closely collaborates with small enterprise, mid-size and larger clients to facilitate and improve communication between Business and IT stakeholders when strategizing needs, defining specific requirements, and modeling and building graphs for MDM and CRM applications.
He teams with organizations new to and experienced with graphs, showing how to use graph databases to create, explore, visualize and analyze network graph views of customers' contextualized connections and data relationships.
An innovative thinker and doer, he coined the term Master Graph and conceived the idea to snap on gadgets (he calls them "portkeys" like the fanciful enchanted objects in Harry Potter) to existing enterprise CRM applications, enabling users to rapidly traverse an extended business network graph and explore, visualize and analyze a customer's data relationships and connections.
For nearly three decades, he has consulted to organizations in health insurance, medical equipment, software and high tech, education, business services and non-profits to define, develop and implement CRM systems and to create customer master data and integration strategies...all for one reason: to increase customer data usability and value so clients can more profitably create and keep customers.
A pioneering subject matter expert on graphs in CRM and MDM, customer data management, customer data integration and customer data quality, he writes and speaks from time to time on these subjects and has been hanging around CRM and MDM long before they were called CRM and MDM.
